Wetta+ is a non-ionic wetting and spreading agent designed to improve the uptake of pesticides by improving coverage of plant surfaces and reducing variability of pesticide performance under adverse conditions. This product is authorised:

USE In winter and spring cereals: for use with all approved pesticides applied at full rate up to and including GS52 (1/4 inflorescence), and at half the approved rate thereafter. In other crops: for use with all approved pesticides applied at full rate up to and including the following crop growth stages, and with all approved pesticides applied at half the approved pesticide rate thereafter: Crop/Product To be applied at or before the following crop growth stages: Beans up to and including first pod set (EPPO code 204) Oilseed Rape up to and including 10% potential pods (code 5.1, Sylvester-Bradley, 1985) Linseed up to and including 10% capsules formed (code 51, Freer 1991) Sugar Beet up to and including 6 fully expanded leaves (EPPO code 23) Maize up to and including tip of tassle visible (EPPO code 53) Brussels sprouts up to and including lateral buds begin to develop Cauliflower up to and including cauliflower heads begin to form; width of growing tip up to 1 cm2 *DO NOT use this product with diquat on potatoes, peas or aquatic weeds. for use with approved pesticides to control bracken in forestry situations and on managed amenity turf; for use post-harvest, on stubble and non-crop areas, and for pasture renovation; Wetta+ also has authorisation for use with all approved pesticides applied at half the approved pesticide rate in all crop and non-crop situations. RATES OF USE Wetta+ should be used at an appropriate rate for the capacity of the spray tank to give a 0.1% dilution of the final water volume. Spray volume Dilution Rate of use/ha Area treated/2.5L 200L/ha 0.1% 200ml 12.50ha 100L/ha 0.1% 100ml 25.0ha

MIXING Half fill the spray tank with clean water and commence agitation. Add the recommended quantity of Wetta+. Then add the recommended quantity of pesticide and the remaining balance of water whilst maintaining agitation throughout. If foaming occurs, add the required quantity of Abate to remove foam.

PRECAUTIONS WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND FACE PROTECTION (FACESHIELD) when handling the concentrate. WASH ALL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING thoroughly after use, especially the insides of gloves. WASH CONCENTRATE from skin immediately. WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN before meals and after work. WHEN USING DO NOT EAT, DRINK OR SMOKE. KEEP AWAY FROM FOOD, DRINK AND ANIMAL FEEDING STUFFS. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT CONTAMINATE SURFACE WATERS OR DITCHES with chemical or used container. KEEP IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, tightly closed, in a safe place. DO NOT RE-USE CONTAINER for any other purpose. IF YOU FEEL UNWELL, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). STATUTORY CONDITIONS RELATING TO USE FOR USE ONLY AS AN AGRICULTURAL, HORTICULTURAL & FORESTRY WETTING & SPREADING AGENT Maximum rate of use: 125 ml of product in 100 litres of water. Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following personal protective equipment: WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND FACE PROTECTION (FACESHIELD) when handling the concentrate. However, engineering controls may replace personal protective equipment if a COSHH assessment shows that they provide an equal or higher standard of protection. DO NOT CONTAMINATE SURFACE WATERS OR DITCHES with chemical or used container.
