Toil
Adjuvant based on the methyl esters of oilseed rape

Toil is a 95% methylated rapeseed adjuvant oil formulated with unique, highly effective emulsifiers, which allow complete and thorough mixing with the spray solution.
It has been specially designed for use as an adjuvant oil in arable crops where the addition of an adjuvant oil is recommended on the pesticide label, and is an ideal replacement for both mineral and vegetable oil adjuvants.

Toil may be used with all cereal graminicides, e.g. Hawk, Topik, Amazon, Cheetah S, Lexus and Sugar Beet materials e.g. Goltix, Venzar, Betanal and Debut.

KEY BENEFITS OF USING TOIL

Toil when mixed with the appropriate herbicide will:

  • improve the spreading of spray droplets resulting in greater spray deposition on the leaf surface;
  • improve adhesion of the herbicide on the leaf surface, thereby ensuring rainfastness;
  • give better penetration therefore improving uptake of the herbicide into the plant;
  • provide maximum herbicide performance even under adverse conditions;
  • have no adverse effect on herbicide residue levels, thereby ensuring that crops are able to meet exacting quality assurance

USE

In winter and spring cereals:

  • for use with all approved herbicides and tank mixtures containing such products applied at full or reduced rate and approved timings.

In sugar beet:

  • for use with all approved herbicides applied at full or reduced rate up to and including six fully expanded leaves (EPPO code 23) and at half the approved rate thereafter.

In other crops:

  • for use with all approved pesticides applied at full rate up to and including the following crop growth stages, and with all approved pesticides applied at half the approved rate thereafter:
