Slippa
Super spreading adjuvant
|
|
|
| Slippa is a ‘super-spreader’ containing
an organosilicone/linear alcohol surfactant blend. It designed for use
with fungicide materials for the control of eyespot, and where swifter
coverage of difficult-to-wet areas is required, ensuring the chemical
is quickly moved to the point of action (e.g. through a dense crop canopy).
KEY BENEFITS OF USING
SLIPPA
Slippa is able to significantly reduce the surface tension
of the spray solution far below the level achieved by conventional surfactants.
This results in:
- superior contact to the target, ensuring that the
chemical is fully spread over the intended target (especially over waxy
surfaces);
- swifter penetration of difficult-to-wet areas, ensuring the chemical
is quickly moved to the point of action (e.g. through a dense crop canopy).
WHERE TO USE SLIPPA
In cereals (for control of stem based diseases, especially
eyespot), Oilseed Rape (for use with sulphur), in horticultural crops,
and in all situations where an improvement in coverage is required.

| RATES OF
USE
Use Slippa at a rate to give a 0.05% to 0.2% dilution
of the final water volume in the spray tank, depending on the pesticide
in use, and the target disease, weed or crop.
