Banka
Combined sticker, wetter and penetrator

Banka is a special 100% blend of alkyl pyrrolidones and polymers - chemistry previously only used in pesticide formulations. This blend gives it STICKING, SPREADING and PENETRATIVE properties to assist the performance of both contact and systemic potato blight sprays.
IMPORTANTLY this 'micro-emulsion' technology means that Banka will NOT block nozzles or pumps.

KEY BENEFITS OF USING BANKA

Banka when tank mixed with the Potato Blight fungicide will:

  • improve retention of the fungicide, ensuring that your spray is rainfast;
  • improve spreading, ensuring greater deposition on the leaf surface;
  • allow better penetration, thereby improving uptake of the fungicide into the plant;
  • ensure maximum performance of your sprays especially under catchy conditions or if your crop has to be irrigated;
  • have no adverse effect on fungicide residue levels, thereby ensuring that your crop is able to meet exacting quality assurance schemes.

USE

In potatoes:

  • for use with approved foliar applied non-systemic fungicides, or mixtures containing such fungicides at all approved timings;
  • for use with approved herbicides up to and including tuber initiation.

In other crops:

  • for use with all approved pesticides applied at full rate up to and including the following crop growth stages, and with all approved pesticides applied at half the approved pesticide rate thereafter:

    Crop/Product

    To be applied at or before the following crop growth stages:

    Cereals up to and including G.S. 52 (1/4 inflorescence)

    Peas

    up to and including flat pod (EPPO code 205) (non-edible pods only)

  • for use with approved pesticides post-harvest, on stubble and non-crop areas, and for pasture renovation.
  • Banka may also be used in tank-mixture with approved pesticides which have a label recommendation for use with authorised sticking and/or wetting agents.

Please note that the pesticide label should be followed with respect to all relevant conditions of approval such as crops, rates, timings, etc. For specific recommendations consult Interagro (UK) Ltd or its agents.
