GET ON TOP OF WILD-OATS NOW
- Wild-oats are one of the most pernicious arable weeds, substantially
reducing yields and quality.
- Only 10 wild-oats per m2 reduce wheat yields by 1 tonne/ha.
- Wild-oats tend to be a problem on light land and in continuous cereal
growing. Growers are advised to keep a close eye on fields where wild-oats
have been a problem in the past.
- Wild-oats need urgent attention now, before the spring-germinators
appear above the crop and the crop canopy becomes too large and difficult
to penetrate.
TOIL ENHANCES WILD-OAT GRAMINICIDES
- Better delivery, better weed coverage and uptake of contact wild-oat
herbicides, such as Topik or Cheetah Super, are key to effective control
in the spring.
- Toil gives greater spray deposition and better penetration of the
target leaf, thereby improving herbicide uptake by the “difficult
to wet” wild-oat plant.
- Toil will enhance the performance of spring wild-oat herbicides for
wheat.
TOIL IS ESSENTIAL FOR MAXIMUM EFFICACY
- Toil adds to the effective performance and consistency of contact
wild-oat graminicides by;
- Aiding spray deposition, improving adhesion to the weed target.
- Improving penetration and uptake of the herbicide into the target
weed.
- Reducing any spray drift by minimising the number of fine droplets
produced.
Drift Reduction - Topik
and Toil

- Being able to be used with a range of herbicides across the seasons.
