T1 SPRAYS NEED TO WORK TO MAXIMIUM EFFECT
- T1 sprays are applied at emergence of leaf 3 (Growth Stage 31/32).
They are aimed at the control of foliar diseases, particularly Septoria,
on the recently emerged leaf 3 and provide protection on leaf 2.
- Leaf 2 contributes around 8% to grain yield, with leaf 3 adding 23%
so keeping these leaves free from disease ensures good yield potential
yield.
- This year most T1 sprays will be applied much later in the year as
crop development has been slow. They need to work to maximum effect
as most T0 sprays were not applied.
- Key fungicides at T1 are triazoles, where doses between half and three-quarter
rates are used. If eyespot is a particular risk, a specific eyespot
spray should be applied.
ARMA WILL ENHANCE ALL TRIAZOLES AT THE T1 TIMING
Triazoles form the backbone of many fungicides programmes, especially
when strobilurin resistance is so rife and triazole stacking has become
a cost-effective solution to the T1 spray.
Arma has been shown in both trials and commercial usage to enhance the
performance of all triazoles, traditional and new. Useful benefits are
seen with all triazoles, although the most substantial increases are in
combination with the most soluble ones.

Yield Effect - Fungicides
and Arma

Arma in mix with T1 fungicides will help to retain and spread the fungicides
onto the leaf surface, improve the placement of fungicides on the plant
and help rapid penetration into the plant where it is needed.
Its use ensures the most robust fungicide performance.
ARMA BENEFITS RIGHT ACROSS THE TANK MIX
Arma will benefit all components in the tank-mix – broad-leaved
weed herbicides, growth regulators, contact fungicides, strobilurin fungicides,
and grass-weed sulphonyl urea herbicides.
